Gila River Indian Community Pima Street Sewer
The Pima Street Design Build consisted of the design and construction of a new 12” water main and over 1900’ of new 12” sewer main. The wastewater infrastructure also included just over 850’ of 8” sewer main and 11 sewer manholes. With almost no as‐built history, a major hurdle and success was the locating of over 2 dozen sewer service connections using CCTV, sonar, and dye testing, followed by the strategic implementation of construction sequencing to ensure the successful reinstatement of each service with minimal disruption to each community member.
